You have to be pretty good to be classed as a bargain at £58m, but Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne is already on his way to that status with his second goal in 2 games.
Turfed out by Jose Mourinho who questioned his mental strength in dealing with competition, De Bruyne made a name for himself in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg before joining Man City this summer.
A low key debut at Crystal Palace was followed by an impressive display in Man City’s loss to West Ham at the weekend where he score the Blues only goal.
The Belgian told fans there was much more to come and he meant it as he aded to his goal tally as well as an assist as Manuel Pellegrini’s side advanced to the next round of the Capital One Cup.
A huge talent, De Bruyne has seemingly taken to English football like a duck to water and given that we’ve seen what he can do, I think the rest of us should be a little worried!
Here are his best bits from last night’s game
