Liverpool starlet Ovie Ejaria scored his first goal for England’s u20 side tonight in a 2-0 win over USA.
Ejaria has been earning rave reviews in Liverpool’s academy with his performances and was a shock inclusion back in September when Liverpool visited Chelsea, now England fans are getting a taste of his talents.
The young midfielder who previously declared for Nigeria, carried on his good form for Keith Downing’s side after an assist for Charlton’s Ademola Lookman in Friday’s 3-1 win over Germany.
The no look pass for Lookman’s opener became an instant hit on Twitter and tonight he went one better with a goal.
The youngster latched on to a pass outside the box to hammer past a helpless US keeper in the 84th minute to help England with the Four Nations Tournament which also included Netherlands.
The youngster saw first team minutes in the summer when Liverpool faced Chelsea in the States as well in the 5-0 pre season win against Fleetwood.
A product of Arsenal’s academy, Ejaria joined Liverpool in 2014 and could be looking to break into the first team on a more permanent basis if his performances continue to catch the eye.
