Francis Coquelin has been snapped with his leg in brace after going off during the first half of Saturday’s win over Chelsea.
The French midfielder missed 2 month of last season with an injury to the medial ligament of his right knee, and many fear that this could be a reoccurrence of that injury.
Due for a scan today, the 25 year old was snapped by a fan with his leg heavily braced adding fuel to the fire that he could be out long term especially after manager Arsene Wenger admitted that the injury looked bad.
Coquelin will almost certainly miss the games with Basel and Burnley this coming week, but Wenger and Arsenal fans will eagerly anticipate any news on the players injury, hoping for the best.
The signing of Granit Xhaka will likely soften the blow, but fingers crossed for Coquelin!
