Thankful the internationals are over and we can get back down to business with the Premier League!
In the first round of matches since the transfer window closed a number of big name players are waiting to make their debuts. All eyes will be on the Emirates as Arsenal take on Man City, whilst Swansea vs Chelsea throws up an unexpected top of the table clash.
Then on Sunday Manchester United’s “Galacticos” take on Harry Redknapp’s QPR in the hopes of gaining their first win of the season, so here Britain’s best bookie buster Angus “Statto” Loughran gives us his pick for the weekend’s games:
After the international break Premier League football returns with Ladbrokes offering 6/4 on Man City bouncing back from a shock home defeat against Stoke and gaining revenge for the Community Shield loss to Arsenal. I think this will be a tight game with 2 goals or less the value play.
Southampton look a good thing at 10/11 to beat Newcastle with home advantage set to prove crucial, whilst Crystal Palace at 21/20 will know the significance, even this early in the season, of the Selhurst Park clash with Burnley.
There will be plenty of short price trebles on Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United this weekend but as the first 3 rounds of matches have shown there are no certainties in the Premier League. Man United are still looking for first win of season but they should get off the mark on Sunday, whilst Villa and Swansea both have nothing to lose at Liverpool and Chelsea.
A double on Spurs at Sunderland and Everton at West Brom returns just over 3/1 while Stoke v Leicester has draw written all over it.
Steve Bruce made some great buys in transfer window for Hull and at odds against are value to beat West Ham in The Monday night football.
