Betting Preview: The Giants Should All Progress As The FA Cup Picks Up

West Brom vs West Ham

West Ham may have lost Andy Caroll for up to six weeks, but bounced back from failing to hold on and beat Manchester United on Sunday with a great point on Wednesday at Southampton. They look value at 9/4 to get a replay against West Brom in what should be a cracking cup tie at The Hawthorns.

Blackburn vs Stoke

With plenty of upsets in Round 4 Blackburn will be hoping to repeat their win over Swansea earlier in competition and beat Stoke to reach last 8 they are a decent price at 15/8 to do so.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool

Liverpool will know Crystal Palace will not be an easy game for them, they threw away the Premiership there last season and Palace fans have been recalling all week Alan Pardew scoring the winner in a famous 4-3 semi final win in 1990 at Villa Park but Liverpool broke Pardew’s heart with a late Cup Final win against West Ham when he was manager in 2006.

At Evens Liverpool look sure to be heavily backed and although they will be without Steven Gerard who has a hamstring injury, their supporters have noticed Cup Final Day is his 35th Birthday and could be a fitting finale for their hero.

Derby vs ReadingBradford vs Sunderland

Derby will be popular to win the all Championship tie against Reading at 4/6 while Sunderland face a tough trip to Bradford whom beat Chelsea and are 9/10 to hold the form book up, I prefer a replay here at 9/4.

Aston Villa vs Leicester

Aston Villa having got rid of Paul Lambert will be hoping to rouse the fans in their Midlands Derby against Leicester who are 21/10 for the upset but I fancy Villa at 11/8 to reach last 8.

Arsenal vs Middlesbrough

Holders Arsenal should beat Middlesbrough at The Emirates but are very short at 4/11 and Boro might well hold out to half time draw/arsenal at over 31/10 in the half time/full time market is the value here. Boro, who knocked out Man City, are 6/1 for another big upset, whilst it is 100/30 for a lucrative replay on Teeside. Karanka has done a great job for them and Sunday will not be an easy game for the Holders.

Preston vs Manchester United

Manchester United should beat Preston on Monday Night but are not playing well at present, and were terrible against Burnley last Wednesday. Simon Grayson knocked United out of the cup in 2010 when manager of Leeds and Preston are 13/2 to win at Deepdale, with an Old Trafford Replay 3/1. I think United will come through but expect it only to be by a narrow margin.
